Angus-Sutton Family

This family was exceptionally fun to photograph. The Angus-Sutton family could very well be an extended family of my little sister.. No pressure for Josh and Morgan but I can easily see them as an addition:)

Anytime when you mix two adults, two 20 something or so's and a toddler, you know there is going to be a little bit of drama (our weather), laughter, crying, (Well we didn't get that far), and excitement.. It was eventful not because of the family, but because of the weather. 20minutes literally before the session, it decides to start pouring in Asheville. This session was at the botanical gardens, and almost didn't happen because of the rain. I hate that we did get rain before the session, but I think it went well nonetheless, lighting was a little touchy but we worked through it, and we got our little tot to SMILE.. I think he actually enjoyed it at the end, thanks to my assistant Morgan :)

Generations: Mary Penn, Morgan Kidd, and Micki Kidd

Family Generations! Aren't they grand? Well this was a shoot that I LOVED being a part of. As you probably have noticed there is one face that is familiar to the blog, and it's Morgan my sister. Well, we became sisters over 12 years ago, and she has always wanted to get pictures of her mom, and grandma (doodah) together. Nonetheless, there is always the "I dont want pictures", "I don't take pictures", or the "I hate pictures" comments. But finally for some reason and some luck by God, she was able to convince a photo session with these two pretty ladies. It was a lot of fun to shoot these three, and see their chemistry as they interacted

with one another for a walk with the family dog, "Willie Bobo".  I'm very honored to have had the pleasure of capturing these images that hopefully will be shown to Morgan's kids (way in the not so close future btw..)  and they can see how great of a grandma, and great-grandma they really have.

Thank you ladies, for giving me "ya ya moment" :)
